Location map Muthanallur Lake https://goo.gl/maps/Y6CZLTuxvC9jpZxQA Hey whats up guys… Today I am back with another video. So as mentioned in Instagram, today our destination is Muthanallur Lake. Yes another rural bird watching destination in Bengaluru. It started with a pretty cloudy morning with a few drizzle… The weather was very pleasant and the wind blown through grassland and lake chilled you out. Most of the part of the lake is covered with Hyacinths plants. A muddy road beside it, separates the grassland with lake. The area is full of oxygen, the only sound you will find of birds and breezes. The entire area is absolutely crowd less that may give you an eerie feelings sometimes. Generally people go there for birding, fishing and cycling. Well in eBird there are records of Mottled wood owl, greater spotted eagle, Red Munia, Indian grey hornbill, Grey francolin, Indian pitta, Indian paradise flycatcher, Booted eagle, Ruddy breasted crake and many more birds. We went for the owl specially and by the grace of god we found it. There are two side of this lake where you can do birding. One is where are are standing, another one is opposite side of the lake. There you will find a bamboo forest where you may find Savana and Indian Nightjar. Any lake in Bangalore is full of fishes. That day I experienced it the most. They caught huge Tilapia fishes which are getting ready for sell in local market. One can buy directly from them and the cost per kg is 150 only. Also I found another small temple which has a big stone which is considered as a local goddess. Well if you try to come to this place you better go by personal vehicle as it is a bit isolated from city. You can access it through Bengaluru - Chennai highway via Electronic City. Reach Chandapura Market and then take left turn to reach your destination. Upto Chandapura market you will get local bus. Another bus route is Ambaliapura - Sarjapur Road Muttanalluru Cross. From that cross you have to hire auto for 9 km to reach the lake. Hope you like this video. Thank you for watching. #bangalore #vlog #birdwatching #birding #vlogger #bangalorebloggers #karnataka #muthanallurlake
