Hi-Rez Designs: Home Haunt - Part 2: The Pirates - Los Angeles, CA - October 31st, 2010 This personal home haunt show took nearly 2 months to design, build, and assemble in the atrium of our home ... that's right, this setup was INSIDE our house! We had over 700 people come by to check out our shows, both our cemetery in the front yard and the "pirate" show inside. We "modeled" our Pirate show to be very similar to that of the "Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean" attraction ride so kids and Tots could enjoy it and not be "scared". We had hundreds of "adults" show up with no kids to watch the show as well. The soundtrack is edited from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" CD and runs about 10 minutes on 1 laptop computer using a SSC-32 circuit board and a special custom made relay board. This video was unfortunately shot with a "consumer" video camera that didn't handle low light very well. Also, all the footage was shot at 1am after the last "guest" left because it was next to impossible to shoot video with all the people visiting throughout the evening.
