We longboard and find cool skateparks all over the country, and that includes the desert! The Desert West Skatepark in Phoenix, Arizona is a street oriented skatepark. But there are a few smooth transitions and features that created a pretty decent flow for longboarding in a skatepark. The back of the skatepark has a few fun pockets and the large "Desert West" window wall. I had to muster up some courage to attempt skating over the window... but I did it!! I was soo excited to get over this window, and I only crashed once! The open layout of this skatepark and the small to medium sized features make this a good skatepark for skateboarding, scooters, and bmx bikes. This flowy style of skateboarding is most fun when you use the right board, and we're happy to provide you with a place to get it!
