The Constitution of Medina: An Early Model of Interfaith Coexistence This talk explores the Constitution of Medina as one of the earliest written agreements establishing a multi-faith society. Created in the 7th century, it brought together Muslims, Jews, and other communities under shared principles of justice, mutual protection, and religious freedom. By examining its key values, the talk highlights how historical frameworks of coexistence can inspire meaningful interfaith understanding and collaboration today.
