Nairobi is continuing major road rehabilitation after the recent heavy rains and flooding that affected several parts of the city. In this drive-through update, we take a look at the ongoing paving works along Uhuru Highway, focusing on the section from ABC Place towards JKIA. After the massive floods that disrupted traffic and damaged sections of the road, contractors are now actively repairing and repaving the highway. This project is part of the broader ABC–JKIA corridor rehabilitation, one of the most important routes connecting Nairobi’s central areas with Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
