Air China Boeing 777-39L(ER) | Beijing Capital to London Heathrow l *Full Flight*

This video is property of Train_PlaneHub, "RachaelMatt" 2160p 4K HD! Onboard the final flight after my trip to Singapore & Beijing, back to London Heathrow. A very hot day in Beijing, temperature sitting at 32 degrees all afternoon. Boarding commenced as normal, about 40 mins prior to our scheduled departure time. A very busy flight compared to my outbound flight, hardly any empty seats around at all. Once boarded we then sat waiting for an air traffic control slot for 90 minutes. Once finally pushed back and engines started we then taxied to round Terminal 3 to RWY19 and waited in the queue for departure for another 30 mins. So with boarding + the 90 minute wait + 30 minute taxi. We'd been on the aircraft 2 and a half hours before actually taking off for a 10 hour 20min flight to London. Once airborne we turned left and headed back on ourselves towards the North East, over the Gobi Desert, into Mongolia, Russia and then over the Baltic states and Scandinavia before passing over the top of Amsterdam and commencing our descent into a beautiful evening in London. Our approach brought us in over Essex allowing some beautiful views in the distance of the city of London and the Thames, before doing an "S" figure hold. We didn't hold for very long at all, just snaked back on ourselves before turning right over London City airport and joining the approach for RWY27L at Heathrow. Also look out for Air Koryo Tupulov in the departure queue ahead of us at PEK. & don't forget to turn up the volume during pushback for the incredible GE-90 engine start up.
