Some things I forgot to mention in this video: This works with almost any length of tassle that you might have, but if you feel like you need more, you can just slide your pinch-point down a little. There's ways to use less rope, but this is good enough for almost all cases. Some jute splays out more than others. Just focus on holding everything in place and taking your time. The trick is to open up the loop enough before trying to pass, and to bunch the fibers enough so that you can roll them through with your thumb. You'll get a groove going soon enough. For undoing overhands, grab close to where they overlap and to the ratcheting motion that you see me do in the video. It really helps on some of the tighter ones. I ran a lot of stopwatch tests on my phone and found that I averaged a pretty consistent overall time of 1:30 per knot, typically testing in 4-6 knot batches.
