My first reaction from testing all these changes extensively was one of disgust and pure anger if I'm going to be honest. I was holding out hope in my previous video (still am) from reading the patch that it would be very fine tuned and not game-breaking levels of awful. Too many changes occurred that destroyed what could've been considered the foundation of PVP which was completely fine as it was with the exception of extreme passive play and Ki spammers. THOSE were what needed change and balancing, not making m1's easier to land. In addition to making m1's easier to land, you also gain back absurd amounts of ki which indirectly buffs androids for them to be able to spam evasives even more often which should've been something that got nerfed in this update but didn't. There is still no global cool down to using evasives back to back to back, only this new extended cool down for playing passive while in combat which is disgustingly long. Again, that should've been a global cooldown for specifically Ki moves which are either auto track or long distance. Blocking and dodging don't work in tandem now either with the changes because of how passive it allowed people to play which wasn't the problem. It's the fact that they were still able to move as freely as they did before. You still get punished for blocking a move, you get punished for dodging because dodging i-frames are reduced significantly. Basically, everything in this patch is a mess because these things weren't tested before release. Known bugs still exist, some have taken ages to fix because of how inefficient this dev team is. I'm so sick of this honestly.
