Constructed with premium tonewoods, the OM45 features an Indian rosewood body and a Sitka spruce top, selected for their superior tonal qualities. The combination of these woods produces a rich, full sound with clear trebles and a warm, resonant bass. The visual appeal of the guitar is enhanced by abalone purflings and an ebony fretboard inlaid with abalone hexagon markers, reflecting the high level of craftsmanship that Martin is known for. This particular OM45 has an incredibly dynamic sound, reminding me more of an OM that's much older than this one. Its tone is woody, quite dry and has the loveliest of overtones.
