Sometimes, no matter what you try, nothing seems to work. You start thinking another pedal or amp will solve it, but the truth is, that spark is always temporary. I’ve met plenty of players, from bedroom musicians to pros, who go through the same thing. Buying new gear only gets you so far. If you find yourself in a rut, it usually means something needs to change in your setup or your habits. In this video, I show you exactly what I do when I’m burned out on guitar. I swap speakers to get a different sound, not just for the sake of changing gear, but because sometimes a small change like this can make everything feel new. Most breakthroughs come from just messing around and letting yourself explore. Most guitarists hit a wall where playing doesn’t feel rewarding. That doesn’t mean you’re missing some secret ingredient or that you need to throw money at the problem. Usually, the answer is in small, hands-on changes you can make today.
