Duck Hunting 2024 | Minnesota Public Land Mixed Bag (6 Species)

The 2024 Minnesota duck season is in full swing and this was an epic morning of duck hunting to kick things off! I had scouted this public land slough the evening prior and after seeing hundreds of ducks buzzing around I was stoked to head out for a solo duck hunt the next morning. The solo hunt quickly turned into a 2-man adventure when Brandon let me know that he'd be swinging through my area at about 4am. It didn't take much convincing to get him out into the marsh and by the time shooting light rolled around we both knew we were in for a good one. The action was hot and heavy with big flocks of teal along with plenty of mallards, gadwall, and pintail working the decoys. With some good shooting and solid work from Leroy we had a nice mixed bag of ducks in hand before long and Brandon was on his way north again. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!
