Student Hairdresser Turned Gangster’s Moll | £3 Million Blackpool Drug Empire | UK True Crime Documentary 💄💰 She was just 21 — a young mother and hairdressing student from Blackpool. But behind her social media selfies and family life, Jessica Lang was secretly helping run a £3 million cocaine and cannabis empire with her boyfriend Scott Le Drew and her brothers Anthony and Bradley Gill. This is the shocking story of a seaside town’s hidden criminal network — one that turned addiction and violence into profit, and saw an entire family brought down by Lancashire Police in one of Blackpool’s biggest ever drug busts. 💼 From Hairdressing Student to Drug Courier Jessica Lang wasn’t your typical career criminal. Friends described her as “stylish” and “family-oriented.” But recordings captured her giving advice to her boyfriend on how to handle cash deliveries — often while her child’s voice could be heard in the back seat. She acted as the link between her brothers, Anthony and Bradley Gill, who controlled the supply chain. Using encrypted phones, Lang relayed messages, organised drop-offs, and even travelled with Le Drew as he collected drug money across Blackpool and Greater Manchester. 💰 The £3 Million Drug Operation At the centre of the empire were the Gill brothers: Anthony Gill, 33 — sourced bulk cocaine shipments from Manchester suppliers. Bradley Gill, 28 — managed the Blackpool distribution network. Scott Le Drew, 31 — Lang’s boyfriend and the Gills’ main cash collector. Jessica Lang, 21 — the insider courier and communicator between them all. Police surveillance revealed that over 28 kilograms of cocaine were trafficked in just 14 months — worth £3 million at street level. When officers raided ten properties, they seized: 6 kilograms of cocaine (valued at £700,000) Quarter of a kilo of amphetamine £122,000 in cash Weapons and encrypted phones 🎧 Police Bugged the Operation Lancashire Police hid a listening device in Le Drew’s car, capturing conversations about drug deals, code words, and cash transfers. In one chilling moment, Lang could be heard telling Le Drew to tell another dealer to stop “counting his money in the car park.” They even caught a handover in a B&Q car park, where Lang helped bag up the cash. Later, she was overheard talking about other gang members being arrested — a sign the network was starting to crumble. ⚖️ Sentences at Preston Crown Court After a massive investigation, 11 members of the gang were sentenced to a combined 107 years in prison: Jessica Lang (21) – 5 years Scott Le Drew (31) – 11 years, 4 months Anthony Gill (33) – 14 years Bradley Gill (28) – 14 years Bradley McSpirit (25) – 11 years, 4 months Daryl Wellings (29) – 10 years, 8 months Joseph Murphy (28) – 10 years John Casey (32) – 9 years, 4 months Declan Morgan (25) – 8 years, 8 months Blu Leahy (24) – 8 years Steven Miller (25) – 6 years Police described it as “a massive criminal enterprise that caused addiction, violence, and fear throughout Blackpool.” 💬 The Human Side of the Story Lang’s family described her as “naïve and misled,” a young woman caught between loyalty and love. But police saw it differently — a willing participant in a criminal network that exploited addiction for profit. Detective Chief Inspector Stuart Dixon said: “This organised gang flooded Blackpool with Class A drugs, destroying lives and communities. We will relentlessly pursue such offenders and make our streets safer.” 📺 Perfect For Viewers Of: • UK True Crime Stories • Female Drug Dealer Cases • Organised Crime in Britain • Real Crime Documentaries from Lancashire 💬 Do you think Jessica Lang was a victim of love — or an accomplice by choice?
