Welcome to a new Artist Vlog! After a hectic winter, I re-arranged my studio space and now have much better lighting for art vlog filming. The studio and desk space weren't quite finished at the start, so you can see how I add plants and other trinkets as the week goes on... How do you like it at the end? 🌿 In this video, I hope to show you a realistic look behind the scenes, how days can be spent with ZERO painting because bookkeeping and organizing are things that, sadly, exist, and also how I start a new commission piece in charcoal and acrylic paints. Also: My first ever Mermay painting on canvas starts here! I've been working freelance for nearly a decade, and much more recently switched to painting (in acrylics as well as digitally) fantasy art for games, book covers, and character art for private commissioners.
