At the Roland booth during NAMM 2025, we caught up with Dustin to discuss the new Roland VMH-S100 headphones. Designed with input from the V-Moda team, these headphones offered a design familiar to those acquainted with V-Moda products but belonged firmly under the Roland brand. The VMH-S100 headphones were positioned as an excellent choice for studio monitoring and composing, providing an accurate sound profile without enhanced low or high frequencies. Unlike V-Moda models like the M100s, known for a lively sound, the VMH-S100 focused on delivering a true separation of frequencies, especially in the crucial low mids. Featuring a new 50mm driver with a broad frequency range from 5Hz to 40kHz, the headphones combined comfort and durability with their 3D ear pads and metal frame. They boasted replaceable magnetic pads, and the cable attachment could be switched between the left or right side, suiting different working preferences.
