DISCOVER Salsomaggiore Terme 🚘 Off The Beaten Track In Italy

I stumbled upon Salsomaggiore Terme while getting off the beaten path in Italy. This small town in Northern Italy is located in the province of Parma and is only 40 minutes from the city of Parma. Salsomaggiore is a quaint town full of historical buildings including the famous Berzieri Spa with its Art Deco architecture. The town was so peaceful and laid-back. It was great not having to compete with large crowds of tourists found in many of Italy's overpriced hotspots. We stayed at the nearby Grand Hotel Regina which is also a historical gem in its own right. It was sad to leave this charming little town but were headed to a Seaside-themed Airbnb near the Italian Riviera.
