http://www.dslrfilmnoob.com/2011/04/2... This wireless DSLR video Trigger is made by http://www.35mod.com and it's designed to allow you to start and stop video recording on your canon DSLR from the handles of your DSLR rig. For $35 you basically get a flexible fiber optic adapter, a mount for your RC-5/RC-6 remote, and all the Velcro you'll need to attach this unit to the handles on your DSLR rig. When I first started looking at this, I wasn't sure if the flex fiber optic cable would be long enough, but after messing around with it for awhile, I realized that you don't really need a lot of flexible cable to make this work. In practice the DSLR video trigger is easy to setup, and comes with everything you need to get this working (minus the remote). For an extra $20 35mod.com will include a RC-5 remote with your kit. Or you can always find one online from amazon or ebay for very cheap. The DSLR video trigger works great, and is easier then many of the DIY projects out there. Remember to set your camera up for remote start/stop recording in the menu section before using this, or the remote wont work.
