A personal narrowboat living experience travelogue Always 100% FREE to view "Cruising the cut" through the Chiltern hills of Bedfordshire Another beautiful sunny day living afloat on a narrow boat and a walk to get the car In this episode of narrowboat life I go to Leighton lock and onward into Leighton Buzzard from Heath and Reach in Bedfordshire There are 26 structures within Heath and Reach civil parish that are listed by Historic England for their historical or architectural interest. No building is listed as Grade I, the designation of highest significance, and Heath Manor is listed as Grade II Date first listed: 29-Apr-1952 Staircase circa 1640, close string with carved newels and turned balusters. Other rooms have oak panelling, 4-centred fireplace arches. Was owned by H Brandreth circa 1666.
