This classic 1965 Pontiac LeMans represents a well-executed restoration paired with a measured, disciplined approach to national market placement. Finished in Dark Emerald Green Metallic, this LeMans is powered by a 326 cubic-inch V8 rebuilt to 389 specifications. The engine was balanced and blueprinted and features flat-top pistons, 4-bolt mains, a Competition RV camshaft, and Pontiac-reworked cylinder heads. Power is delivered through a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. The car underwent a complete body-off restoration while retaining its original body panels. Originally delivered new in California, it remained rust-free and was later garage-kept in Massachusetts. Upgrades were selected with restraint and intent, including a POR-15 finished frame, upgraded suspension components, rear anti-sway bar, bagged rear suspension, and Right Stuff 4-wheel disc brakes. The interior was finished in black Legendary upholstery chosen for fit, correctness, and durability. An additional Tri-Power carburetor setup accompanied the car. Rather than relying on a single website or auction format, this LeMans was introduced to the national market using Caruso Classics’ multi-platform rotation strategy. Exposure was staged across different buyer channels — including platforms such as Hagerty Auctions, Cars & Bids, and Bring a Trailer — each attracting a distinct buyer audience. This approach allows listings to remain fresh, builds momentum over time, avoids listing fatigue, and positions each vehicle in front of the right buyer at the right time. The objective is alignment — between the vehicle, the platform, and the buyer. Sold by Caruso Classics
