After a long break, the Rope Dye Vlog is back! A few weeks ago, I committed what many would consider to be a crime against dry denim. I washed my jeans! Before I hand them over to the repairman, it is only fair that they get a good wash. No one should be expected to handle denim that’s been rubbing against your sweaty crotch for months on end! So into the bath they went. A little soap, a little agitation and 45 mins later. Voilà, clean denim! But what did this little dip in the tub do to the jeans? In the latest vlog, I take a detailed look (probably too detailed) at how the washing affected the denim.
