Title:The 2nd International Symposium on Humanities and Culture: Visions of a Digital Future Time:March 27, 2025 09:30(Beijing) Organizer:香港浸会大学、文学及社会科学院、创意硏究院 OVERVIEW: The 2nd International Symposium on Humanities and Culture: Visions of a Digital Future, organised by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), will be heldon 26-27 March 2025 at the Hong Kong Palace Museum. The symposium will discuss the impact of artificial intelligence(Al)from the perspectives of humanity and society. This two-day international symposium serves as a prominent platform for thought leaders and experts to delve into the crucial role of humanities in guiding technological advancements and shaping future societies. The symposium will feature four distinct sessions, each addressing critical aspects of the impact of emerging technologies, such asartificial intelligence(Al),on i)culture,ii)societies. iii) transdisciplinarity, and iv) education, as well as the broaderdigital future. Inviting renowned experts, scholars and industry leaders from various fields to offer their noteworthy insights, the symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and explore the multifaceted aspects of Al integration and its far-reaching consequences under its unprecedented development.
