The music pays homage to cinema's past in a Noir style that draws inspiration from the music of Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry, Bernard Herrmann as well as inspiration from contemporary composers such as David Arnold, John Williams, Danny Elfman, James Horner, and Yoko Kanno. There are also some styles that are not typical of the period such as funk (like Lalo Schifrin), western (Ennio Morricone), and trip-hop (Akira Yamaoka) to add some eclectic flair and spice things up. About Josh Barron: Josh Barron comes from a small rural town in Royal Center, Indiana and has been composing and arranging music since 2002. His interest was sparked by his experience playing trumpet in band, and after graduating Josh stayed active in the band department and arranged video game pieces for the ensemble. It wasn't until 2015, until Josh decided he would commit fully to composition and arrangement. Josh released a classical album called The ETHEReal String Project and later co-founded an acoustic folk supergroup called The Travelers VGM. He is currently working on the score to more Fallen Aces, as well as arranging more music from games.
