Consider this video AirTags explained. AirTags are small, circular discs that will allow you to track them inside of Apple’s Find My app on iOS, iPadOS, and macOS. If you’ve set up AirPods or a HomePod, then you know how simple Apple makes this process. For an AirTag, all you need to do is remove the battery tab and then bring it close to your iPhone. When the card appears at the bottom, just tap Connect. Each AirTag one is also equipped with Apple’s U1 ultra wideband chip, which allows for extremely precise location. They include a mode called Precision Finding when you use an iPhone with an Ultra Wideband chip in it like the iPhone 12. where the phone will lead you directly to the AirTag location with visual, sound and haptic feedback. let’s say you do lose an item with an AirTag attached. You can use the Find My app to put it in Lost Mode, which lets you get notifications when it’s detected, but also lets you add a message and contact info so that if someone scans the AirTag with an NFC-capable smartphone, they can get whatever info you left so they can contact you. And to be clear, scanning AirTags works with NFC-capable smartphones, and that means they can be scanned by iOS and Android devices.
