November 2, 2025. In the eastern United States, the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum brings many visitors around to see the equipment and ride the train, even doing an excursion to Summerville, Georgia. This year is where one of their steam engines makes its final puffs before going on an overhaul, which is Southern Railway 630, a 2-8-0 consolidation built by ALCO in 1904. In this video, it will show 630 doing a final doubleheader with 2-8-2 engine 4501 from Chattanooga to Summerville in mostly wet weather. It will also show highlights of Summerville end like 4501 moving a caboose and both engines using the turntable. Also included is a small glimpse of the small local train pulled by one of their diesels. Enjoy the video and farewell to 630.
