Prepositions show the relationship between a noun or pronoun with other words in a sentence. In this lesson, you will learn how to use the prepositions of time in, on and at. A preposition of time indicates WHEN something happens. IN: in + month in + season in + year in + part of day in the morning in the afternoon in the evening ON on + day of the week If the event is a unique (one-time) event, the day of the week is singular: Example: I have a meeting with my manager on Friday.
