What you’ll need: USB C to USB / HDMI Hub: https://amzn.to/3drkGLK (if you are connecting a newer computer with USB C ports) Mini Display Port to HDMI: https://amzn.to/2MpckZ7 (if your computer is a bit older and it has this squareish plug with a lightning bolt symbol.) Lightning to HDMI: http://amzn.to/2fAZTIo (if you are connecting your iPhone or iPad to the TV.) HDMI Cable: http://amzn.to/2fB7h6g (to use with an above adapter, or alone if your computer has a HDMI port built in.) Logitech C920 Webcam: http://amzn.to/1QLEmq6 (this is a great external webcam.) 55″ TV (bigger than the one in the video) https://amzn.to/3e6zJKJ (I don’t own this TV, but it looks like a great option with easily accessible HDMI ports at a reasonable price.) How to View Zoom Meeting on TV Screen: First, you’ll need to figure out what type of port you have on your laptop or computer. (USB-C/Mini Display Port/Lighting Port/HDMI port) For laptops with a USB-C port: How to use Zoom video conferencing on your TV 1 Plug the USB-C to USB/HDMI hub into your USB-C port. 2 Plug your external webcam into one of its USB ports. 3 Plug your HDMI cable into the HDMI port. 4 Plug the other end of your HDMI cable into the HDMI port at the back of your TV. 5 Switch your TV’s input to the appropriate HDMI port you plugged into to view your Zoom call. For devices with a Mini Display port: 1 Plug the Lightning to HDMI adapter into your Mini Display Port. 2 Plug your external webcam into one of your USB ports. 3 Plug your HDMI cable into the Lightning to HDMI adapter. 4 Plug the other end of your HDMI cable into the HDMI port at the back of your TV. 5 Switch your TV’s input to the appropriate HDMI port you plugged into to view your Zoom call. For devices with a built-in HDMI port: 1 Plug your HDMI cable into your laptop/computer’s HDMI port. 2 Plug the other end of your HDMI cable into the HDMI port at the back of your TV. 3 Switch your TV’s input to the appropriate HDMI port you plugged into to view your Zoom call. And there you have it! It’s so much more convenient when you have your conference calls on a bigger screen, whether you’re checking in with your family or having a meeting with your co-workers.
