Olly has done a lot of modifications to his EP3 Type R over the years but this list is what he thinks are the most important things that you should focus on to get the most out of the car in all aspects. This list is ordered in “importance” order. With the least important first. It starts with a refreshed or new rocker cover, this freshens up the engine bay and gives the car a more new feel just by looking at it. A Mugen Style Spoiler is next and this is the best aesthetic mod you can do to the exterior of the EP3. We then move inside the car for the double din head unit with CarPlay or Android Auto and some upgraded seats for comfort and support. It is then onto power upgrades, both the inlet manifold and 4 2 1 exhaust manifold are important additions to the car when going for the most power with an ECU Remap. More importantly, and something you should change as soon as possible, is an intake or induction kit and a cat back exhaust or even a blackbox. This makes the car far more enjoyable to drive and means you car really clearly hear the VTEC crossover. Most importantly for this car is the handling. They are already great from Honda but with good tires, springs or coil overs, a fast road set up and a Limited Slip Differential, the EP3 is elevated to another level!
