Join artist and art teacher Maggie T Sutrov as she paints on site in Maui's alpine shrublands and in the native rainforest of Waikamoi, part of the single largest source of fresh surface water in Hawaii. Then Maggie teaches a step-by-step art lesson where students express the beauty and value of our native rainforests with watercolors. (Begin at 10:00) Paintings created on site with the East Maui Watershed Partnership in Haleakala Ranch's Pu’u Pahu Reserve, and in The Nature Conservancy's Waikamoi Preserve.
