Smart Tech & Handmade Interior! VW Transporter T6 Camper Conversion Tour

In this video, we take a look at my brother’s self-built VW Transporter T6 camper conversion, where he’s created an incredible home on wheels with a little help from me! Starting life as a 65 plate panel van, this stunning transformation now features a fully custom interior, high-tech electrical system, and all the essentials for life on the road. One of the highlights of this build is the Bluetooth-enabled electrical system, featuring a 105Ah lithium battery, Victron DC-DC charger, solar controller, and smart charger, all connected via Bluetooth for complete control and monitoring. A mains consumer unit allows for 240v hookup, while the Sargent control panel provides switches for the water pump, lights, USB & 12v sockets, and even a 240v plug socket for use when connected to campsite electrics. The camper is fitted with a 40L 12v compressor fridge built seamlessly into the handmade furniture, along with a Dometic 9222 twin gas burner and sink with cold running water. A Rusty Lee front sliding swivel seat maximizes space, and the rock and roll bed has been upholstered to match the front seats, creating a sleek and unified look. The furniture is completely handmade from lightweight ply, finished in cream and steel grey with black corner profiles and edging. Inside, the blue carpeted sides contrast beautifully with the stone-colored roof, adding depth and warmth to the van’s interior. To complete the transformation, windows have been installed all around with blackout curtains, making it the perfect setup for both adventure and comfort.
