Winding down our time at RakuNyan Home with the kind of Tokyo day we’ll miss the most: slow, local, and filled with carbs. This morning we finally walked into our neighborhood favorite—Timeline Bakery—and ordered like we’ve been watching Japan vlogs our whole lives: cheese‑filled bread, blueberry scone, hot dog baguette, and a stacked avocado burger. Friendly owners, tiny shop, and a full breakfast for about what one fast‑food meal would cost back home. From there we wandered the streets we’ve been calling our “second home,” past cake shops, izakayas, Chinese and yakitori spots, then tried (and failed) to take the bus because walking just felt too good. That led us straight into Don Quijote—multistory chaos of groceries, gifts, and a whole floor of gashapon and crane games—before heading upstairs to a conveyor‑belt sushi restaurant where you order by tablet and your food and drinks arrive on a tiny Shinkansen. Fries, crab rolls, ramen, lemon sour by bullet train, and even a surprise prize capsule when we won the table game. We end the vlog the way real life feels here: full, happy, and a little tired, walking back to our Nerima neighborhood, recapping the day at RakuNyan and getting ready for tomorrow’s big outing to the LOST bar with friends. If you’ve ever wondered what an “ordinary” Tokyo day looks like away from tourist traps—bakeries, buses, bargain sushi and cozy streets—this episode is for you. #TokyoVlog #JapanTravel #TokyoBakery #JapaneseBakery #Nerima #RakuNyanHouse #ConveyorBeltSushi #DonQuijote #LocalTokyo #TravelVlog #LuciaAndGlynn #TokyoFood #JapanVlog #LifeInJapan #HiddenTokyo
