This is FULL BROADCAST of the 16th and final round of the 2000 250cc EA Sports Supercross Championship from Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas, NV. This is the LAST of only 9 races from the year 2000 that I have. This is the first ever LIVE Supercross on Pay-Per View. Returning 250cc contenders like Kevin Windham, Mike LaRocco, Sebastien Tortelli, Larry Ward, 250cc sophomore Ricky Carmichael, '99 250cc MX champ Greg Albertyn, Damon Huffman, John Dowd, 250cc rookie David Vuillemin, Tim Ferry, Jimmy Button, and series champ Jeremy McGrath battle it out for the 2000 EA Sports 250cc Supercross Championship. This series features a season-long battle between Yamaha teammates Jeremy McGrath and David Vuillemin (famously called The Kid Against The King). Ezra Lusk and Jeff Emig are sidelined for the 2000 Supercross season due to an injured shoulder in practice at Anaheim 1 for Lusk, and Emig breaking both of his wrists on New Year's Eve 1999. David Vuillemin goes for a cool $500,000 from the Vans Triple Crown. Watch as Jeremy McGrath goes for win #10 of the 2000 season. This race also marks the final Supercross/Motocross race for Jeremy McGrath's long-time friend Grayson Goodman, who would be transferring to a family home-building business back in his hometown of Dallas, TX. Returning 125cc contenders like Brock Sellards, 125cc East champ Stephane Roncada, Nick Wey, Suzuki rookie Travis Pastrana, Tyler Evans, Michael Brandes, 1999 West champ Nathan Ramsey, Kelly Smith, 1999 East champ Ernesto Fonseca, David Pingree, Casey Johnson, Casey Lytle, Tallon Vohland, 125cc West champ Shae Bentley, Greg Schnell, KTM rookie Rodrig Thain, Yamaha of Troy rookie Justin Buckelew, and others battle it out for bragging rights for the 2000 Dave Coombs Sr. 125cc East/West Shootout. 125cc West Supercross champ Shae Bentley is forced to withdraw from the 125cc East/West Shootout due to a bad stomach virus, which eventually costs him the 2000 125cc AMA Motocross season. Travis Pastrana becomes the first non-champion to win the shootout in a number of years. Enjoy. NOTE: I own none of the audio tracks seen at the beginning and end of this race. This is posted for motocross entertainment purposes only. I also decided to fuse both parts together for the heck of it.
