To celebrate the Football League naming Cardiff City’s Peter Whittingham in their ‘Team of the Decade,’ here is every goal scored by 'Whitts' in Football League competitions. Whittingham has made 339 League appearances for the Bluebirds since joining the Club in January 2007, scoring 72 League goals during that time. The City stalwart – currently eighth in the list of the Club’s all-time appearance makers - received the prestigious honour at the Football League’s 10th annual Football League Awards ceremony, held on Sunday evening in London. Cardiff City CEO Ken Choo attended the gala ceremony with Peter and reflected on the midfielder’s fantastic achievement, saying: “On behalf of all at Cardiff City Football Club, I’d like to say how proud we are to see Peter honoured by the Football League in this way. “Peter has been a fantastic servant to us since 2007 and continues to play a significant role in what we’re trying to achieve here. “His inclusion in the 'Team of the Decade' is fully justified and I’m delighted to see his contribution and talent recognised by the Football League. It’s thoroughly deserved. “I’d also like to congratulate John Tobutt, our Academy Teacher & Coach, who was recognised by the League’s Club Hero Panel.
