Trevor Linden was a gritty Canadian prairie kid that lived the NHL dream for 19 seasons. I was born the same year as Trevor Linden and he was the first player my age that made the NHL. When I grew up, a minor hockey buddy later played junior with Trevor Linden in Medicine Hat during the 1987-88 season. The Medicine Hat Tigers and Trevor Linden would also win the Memorial Cup that year too.
