Purchased from ShowZStore: https://showzstore.com/ Get yours!: https://showzstore.com/touch-toys-j16... Figure Note: Stop-Motion Transformation of Touch Toys J16-N Nacrmmi. Very complex! Another interesting design by Black Apple. It’s a lot of work to transform this thing and the shoot took me 4.5 hours. Some notes: It’s a bit unsatisfying to leave the head stowed and have that nosecone cover in the way, but otherwise it’s very hard to maneuver that nosecone cover assembly when the head is in the way. You have to pop the hip joints a notch to get the separation of the legs and wings going. I recommend separating the legs from each other (at the back) first so you can pop one leg at a time. Once that’s loosened up it gets easier to continue lifting up the hip assembly and continuing to rotate the hips. Sorry if that is less clear in the video than ideal. Support Note: Like what you see? Jet to Robot: 0:09 Robot to Jet: 3:04 Speed run to Robot: 5:59 Speed run to Jet: 6:50 2x Run: 7:41 End credits: 8:32 Production Note: This required a lot of cursing. But I didn’t really need to do any photo editing in post, so that worked out well, at least. Viewing Note: If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking. Music: The music is by Ethan Meixsell - www.ethanmeixsell.com Songs: “Pride Before the Fall”, “By the Sword”, “Run” and “Start Your Engines”
