(4K) Plane Spotting at Laredo Airport: T-Tail Heaven! Part 2

Aviation video @ Laredo International Airport (KLRD/LRD)! Filmed on 12/11/21, this second part features more T-Tailed aircraft, as well as a rare Antonov An-12 operated by Ukraine Air Alliance (UAA). This airport serves as a cargo hub for Aeronaves TSM (or at least it seems like it), and constantly has flights of less known cargo and charter airlines such as World Atlantic, USA Jet, IFL Group, among others. Travelling to this airport makes you feels like you're taking a trip to the past, as most of the aircraft seen in the video belong to the older generation of aircraft back when they were much louder than today's quiet jets. Laredo International Airport was used by the United States Army Air Forces during World War II as Laredo Army Airfield, and by the US Air Force as Laredo Air Force Base during the Cold War as a pilot training base with T-33 Shooting Star and later T-37 Tweet and T-38 Talon aircraft. The military presence ended in December 1973 as part of a nationwide defense cut back after the Vietnam War. Commercial air service provided by Texas International Airlines was moved from the Laredo Municipal Airport (now closed) to the Laredo International Airport in the summer of 1975. Since then, several other commercial airlines and air freight carriers have used this airfield. I hope you like this video!
