Hello and welcome to MCT Trains 🚂 This weeks video is a Class 59 special that features all the current 14 in service Class 59s. There is a 15th loco (59002) but this is currently stored at one of Freighters depots up in Leeds where it is out long term and not expected back anytime soon 👍 These locos have been game changers on the stone and quarry trains since they were first introduced in the late 80s. Even with some of the Class coming up to 40 years old they are still the go to loco for heavy haul stone trains. Unrivalled power and strong reliability makes these work horses one of the best imports the UK rail network has ever seen and my guess is there be around for many more years to come ✅ 😃 Once again thank you for watching.
