If you're feelin me right now put your hands in the sky... WAVE SIX [1/2] High [MRK mix] couldn't be the ONLY mix that uses a sample. So I used one again, this time for Lit Up. This remix was made quite a while ago now, around Feb of this year. I saw FNFFAN737's use of MUTT by Leon Thomas for this song and I just had to try it out myself. Shoutouts to her for the sample idea and allowing me to use it. I put my own spin to it and chopped up the sample myself from scratch. I listened to MUTT (the sampled song) on repeat when I was travelling abroad last christmas so I immediately knew how to work with the sample and how I wanted to chop it up. I had the chorus repeat a few parts of it while the middle sections goes super crazy with the effects and samples, which helped it set up for another sample down the line... It was turning out real good but it felt like something was missing... RagerGames told me he felt like rapping in the middle section and thats when it clicked. I immediately got Hands Up! (the pico results theme) and sampled Kawai Sprite's verse to put all over the song. It felt fitting since Lit Up (BF mix) does kinda the same thing with the Chuckie Finster sample. Suddenly the whole song hit ten times more now that it has lyrics over it and i'm happy with how it turned out. Also the BPM listed on the visualiser is actually in double time, but I cba to re-export it.
