Rachel is a kidney cancer survivor. She was diagnosed with stage 2 renal cell carcinoma kidney cancer in August of 2018. She underwent a laparoscopic nephrectomy of her right kidney and had a biopsy taken from the mass. At her follow-up appointment, it was confirmed she had kidney cancer, but they got it all! She went into remission and will have scans every six months. Rachel shares her insight on being a young woman diagnosed with kidney cancer. She shares how her family and friends supported her and how her own mindset helped her through her cancer experience.
