Mini Bougainvillea | HOW TO MAKE GUAMVILLEA VARIETIES BLOOM IN SMALL POTS Materials and Requirements 1. Well rooted matured for at least 1 year old guamvillea (violet or white varieties) 2. Small pot with a dimensions of: Length 9 inches With 7 inches height 5 inches 3. Soil mix Pebbles, sand , garden soil and vermicast or compost Procedure Repot the bougainvillea into the small pot, Lay the pebbles as first layer in the most bottom part of the pot (15% ), next add the sand as second layer ( 15%) add 20 % of vermi cast as 3rd layer.... (This time the pot is already 1/2 filled ) Replant the bougainvillea and fill up the remaining 50% soil components with garden soil.. Water the plant thoroughly, and put under shades for 3-5 days and expose to sunlight thereafter. After a week, when the bougainvillea has adopted to each new pot and looked stable, add fertilizer. Add 1 teaspon of msg or ajinonomoto as fertilizer. Water thoroughly. You may also add 1/4 teaspon of complete fertilizer with NPK of 14-14-14. Wait for 4-6 weeks to start blooming flowers.
