Eco-Lodge Stay at Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand | Tha Yang, Thailand

I wanted to spend some time at an elephant sanctuary or rescue centre in Thailand. While researching, I found Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand. I decided to stay at their eco-lodge - I Love Phants Lodge. I stayed for 2 nights in a little bungalow that backs up to one of the elephant enclosures. I also toured the facilities and saw all kinds of animals that WFFT helps (my favourites were the gibbons). When it comes to travel and animals, you need to do research and make sure you are putting your money into a place that is ethical and really takes care of the animals. I felt good about putting my money into WFFT. I like how they help all kinds of animals in need, not just elephants.
