This recipe is perfect for family dinners, gatherings, or anyone who loves warm, comforting, homemade food. Ingredients are listed below. Tip In this recipe, I used cream instead of milk for the bechamel sauce because I didn’t have milk at home — and it turned out incredibly rich, creamy, and delicious. If you want a thicker and more luxurious lasagna, using cream is a great option. Meat Sauce 2 onions 1 red bell pepper 1 green bell pepper 2 carrots 3 tbsp vegetable oil 20 g butter 3 garlic cloves (or garlic purée) 600 g ground beef 3 tbsp tomato paste Tomato purée ( as needed) Cheese for layering 1 tsp turmeric 1 tsp bell pepper 1 tsp onion powder 1 garlic powder 1 tbsp oregano Lasagna sheets(as needed) Béchamel Sauce 3-4 tbsp oil 3 heaping tbsp flour 500 g cream 1 tbsp oregano (optional) Salt & pepper to taste lol 1. Sauté the chopped carrots first, then remove them from the pan. 2. Sauté the green and red bell peppers, then remove them as well. 3. Sauté the onions until soft, then add the garlic purée. 4. Add the ground beef and cook until fully browned. 5. Add the tomato paste and fry it for a minute to deepen the flavor. 6. Add the tomato purée and mix well. 7. Return the sautéed carrots and bell peppers to the pan. 8. Add all the spices, salt, and pepper. 9. Pour in a little boiling water, cover the pan, and let everything cook together until the flavors combine and the sauce becomes rich and well- cooked. 10. Prepare the Béchamel by cooking flour in oil, then adding cream and whisking until smooth. 11. Layer: meat sauce— lasagna sheets — Béchamel — cheese. Repeat. 12. Bake until golden and bubbly.
