ABC7 & St. Joseph Center News: Opening of Santa Monica’s First Modular Affordable Youth Housing

St. Joseph Center celebrated the ribbon cutting of Berkeley Station, a powerful example of what it looks like when vision, partnership, and persistence come together to create real pathways home. Congratulations to our Youth Resource Team (YRT) and everyone who made this possible. Berkeley Station in Santa Monica is a 13-unit, four-story affordable housing development designed by Brooks + Scarpa. Completed in March 2026, it is Santa Monica's first modular project targeting low-income families and transitional-aged youth with support services from St. Joseph Center.
