Maria survived obstetric fistula and shares her powerful story of recovery and her experience receiving treatment at the Terrewode Women's Community Hospital. Plus, we share the ambitious next phase of our mission to end fistula: a new maternity ward on the Terrewode campus to prevent fistulas from occurring in the first place and provide maternity care to 1,500 delivering mothers and their babies each year.
