Here's a simple and easy Chicago style deep dish pizza recipe you can put together and cook on your Kamado Joe grill! Crust: 3 cups all purpose flour 2 1/2 tablespoons yellow corn meal 1 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp instant dry yeast 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil 3 tablespoons melted butter 1 1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil 3/4 cup plus 1 1/2 tablespoons lukewarm water Combine dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add the wet ingredients and knead with the mixer for 8 minutes or so until pulling away form the bowl cleanly. Place the dough in a well oiled bowl and cover with plastic. Let rise for an hour or until doubled in size. Preheat your grill to 425°F and set up for indirect cooking. Place about 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a 12" deep dish pizza pan. Press your dough into the pan and build it up on the side edges. Par cook the dough for about 10 minutes. Add your toppings and put it back on the grill and cook for 30-40 minutes or until it's done.
