Trip to Kanchipuram, Temple, Varadaraja Temple, and Arunachaleshwara Temple was part of the Heritage Pilgrim Tour of temples. Mahabalipuram is located in the state of Tamil Nadu, It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site of 7th- and 8th-century Hindu Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram. It became the site of a group of Pallava royal monuments, many carved out of the living rock. These are dated to the 7th and 8th centuries: rathas, mandapas. Kanchipuram also known as Kanchi is a temple city in the state of Tamil Nadu The Kamakshi Temple is an ancient Hindu Temple dedicated to Kamakshi, the ultimate form of Goddess Lalitha Maha Tripurasundari (Parvati). The Image of the main Deity, Kamakshi, is seated in a majestic Padmasana, a yogic posture signifying peace and prosperity, instead of the traditional standing pose. There are no other Goddess temples in the city of Kanchipuram, apart from this temple, which is unusual in a traditional city that has hundreds of traditional temples. Varadharaja Perumal Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in the holy city of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the Divya Desams, the 108 temples of Vishnu believed to have been visited by the 12 poet saints, or Alwars One of the greatest Hindu scholars of Vaishnava Vishishtadvaita philosophy, Ramanuja is believed to have resided in this temple.The temple along with Ekambareswarar Temple and Kamakshi Temple in Kanchipuram is popularly known as Mumurtivasam (abode of trio). This is one of the most sacred places for Vaishnavites. Arunachaleshwara Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to the deity Shiva, located in Thiruvannamalai in Tamil Nadu. Shiva is worshiped as Arunachalesvara, and is represented by the lingam.. His consort Parvati is depicted as Unnamalai Amman.The temple complex covers 10 hectares, and is one of the largest in India. It houses four gateway towers known as gopurams. The temple was built during the Chola dynasty in the 9th century. The temple has numerous shrines, with those of Arunachalesvara and Unnamalai Amman being the most prominent.
