The Slasher Movie subgenre. One of the most known subgenres of the Horror genre in Film and now on TV. The subgenre ‘slasher’ is horror films which include a violent psychopath stalking and murdering a group of people brutally. Slasher movies have had a big impact on the film industry on a whole as well as been a big influence on pop culture, so let’s have a look at THE HISTORY OF SLASHER MOVIES.
