Where Are Henry VIII's Six Wives Buried?

Henry VIII is the most famous of the Kings of England. He is most known for his six wives, and the rhyme divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, survived. He is known also for his larger than life character, immense brutality and horrific reign in which he ordered the executions of around 70,000 people in England. His wives and his love-life are still debated by historians and it's incredibly interesting to look at what happened to each of the 6 wives. Two of them were brutally beheaded inside the Tower of London, Two were divorced, one died during childbirth and his final wife managed to out live him. However where are these wives buried? Catherine of Aragon was famously shunned in favour of Anne Boleyn, causing the split from the Roman Catholic Church and beginning the turbulent English Reformation. Both of these faced very different fates, Catherine was buried in a quiet funeral at Peterborough Cathedral. Anne was executed inside the walls of the Tower of London, and was subsequently buried inside the Tower's church, the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula. Henry VIII's third wife Jane Seymour tragically died following childbirth at Hampton Court, and was the only of his wives to gain a Queen's funeral being buried in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle and she was later joined by the King. Anne of Cleves outlived all of Henry's wives, and she was buried inside Westminster Abbey and it's easy today to miss her tomb inside the amazing church. Catherine Howard brutally followed in the same way as Anne Boleyn being beheaded, and was also buried inside the Tower of London's church. Henry's final wife Catherine Parr re-married after Henry's death, and was later buried in a chapel in Sudeley Castle. The story of Henry VIII's six wives are incredibly interesting, and today it still remains a brilliant story around 500 years later.
