Average speed REALTIME was 566fpm, but I sped it up to 1,000 feet per minute. This one was RIDICULOUSLY SLOW! I don't know why it had to be stopped for so long. My first ride on Vista Express is SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER Promised Land Express was built by Doppelmayr in 2011 to supplement the Backside Express, the oldest detachable at Northstar. It has UNI-G terminals, Agamatic grips, and EJ chairs. It's 4,673 feet long, 1453 feet tall and it has a capacity of 2,400 people per hour. It serves intermediate and advanced terrain and it plays an important role in getting people back to the frontside. It has 105 chairs and 17 towers. On a side note: I currently think that I might be the only one who has a full recording of this lift. Backside Express was once the second oldest high speed quad at Northstar, but it became the oldest high speed quad when the old Comstock Express from 1989 was removed and replaced with a Doppelmayr UNI-G high speed six.
