May 22, 2020 Join us from your living room as we pilgrimage to Assisi and Cascia Italy. This will be Part 3 of Assisi, but do not worry. If you missed Parts 1 and 2, we will have a recap. Our friend, the Bishop of Assisi, Domenico Sorrentino will join us and give us his blessing at the end and share a beautiful spiritual reflection. We will pray at the tomb of St. Francis and at the tomb of St. Rita of Cascia on her feast day! Join us! On this day of pilgrimage, Friday, May 22nd, it is the Feast Day of St. Rita of Cascia, the saint of impossible causes. Thus, we will pilgrimage from Assisi to Cascia which is in the same region of Italy, Umbria. Bring your deep desires to the tomb of St. Rita on Friday for her intercession. Nothing is impossible for her! We have an amazing encounter: the Bishop of Assisi, Italy, Domenico Sorrentino — the successor of the bishop in 1205 or 1206 who sheltered a 24-year-old Francis when he gave up all earthly riches, and stripped himself naked in front of the bishop of the time. Before we begin our pilgrimage, we pray a rosary. The pilgrimage begins about 27:33. Our live Virtual Pilgrimages have a lively discussion at the end which are not on the tape editions. Join us live, at no cost to you, on our next pilgrimage. View our schedule and register at this link: https://insidethevaticanpilgrimages.com. If you are late for our live pilgrimages, do not worry! Our virtual pilgrimage vessel allows you to "hop on, hop off" at your convenience.
