Odia Youth Abducted in Sudan: Parents Appeal for Rescue!

Amidst the ongoing civil war in Sudan, an Odia youth, Adarsh Behera from Kotakana, Tirtol PS, Jagatsinghpur district, has been abducted by rebel Rapid Support Forces (RSF). His distressed parents are making an earnest appeal for his rescue. The abductors not only took Adarsh but also seized his mobile phone and other belongings. Adarsh managed to send an audio recording to his wife, Susmita, stating that the abductors might release him if the state and central governments intervene. Susmita has also appealed to the state government for her husband's safe return. Responding to the incident, Jagatsinghpur SP Ankit Kumar Verma stated that the district police administration is in contact with the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) regarding Adarsh's abduction.
