Ellenbrook Line train Journey from Perth 👉Ellenbrook.

A project in the waiting for almost 15 years finally comes to fruition. Perth’s Ellenbrook line, a line which runs to the suburb of Ellenbrook located in Perth’s Northeast. This project was opened on the 8th of December 2024 giving the people of Ellenbrook, Dayton, Barabam, Ballajura, Noranda, Morley and Embelton. In this video we take a journey where this train line starts from Perth and uses the existing eastern heritage line which is also shared with the Airport line and Midland line until Bayswater. It then diverts track at Bayswater to enter into platform 3. After leaving Bayswater it travels on a viaduct and then goes through a cut and cover tunnel before reaching into the middle of the Tonkin Highway where the Journey will continue to Ellenbrook. The Line currently uses 3car B series trains due to the shorter length of the platforms between Perth and Bayswater but this coming week on Saturday 27th the Ellenbrook line will use 6car trains from Ellenbrook to Bayswater then express to Perth Showgrounds for the Royal show, (A video on that soon). Another new Line that is now operational after 15 years of waiting.
